Types of development aid:

Technical Aid

Economic assistance takes the form of providing finance or capital. Technical aid on the other hand consists in providing exper­tise and training to bridge technological gaps in certain sectors of an economy.

Conditional Aid

Conditional aid policy is self-enforcing if, at any point in time, the conditions imposed on aid funds are supportable by the threat of a permanent aid cutoff from then onward.
